Over 20 business minds from across Dorset and Somerset convened at The Eastbury Hotel for breakfast on Wednesday 30th September to hear a presentation by Nick Foster of Dyne Drewett, who examined how you can minimise the value of an unfair dismissal claim. Nick considered the steps you can take to stop employees from adding value to their unfair dismissal and other employment claims.
Completing the seminar, Stuart Grimster of Old Mill Chartered Accountants spoke about “how has the recession has affected local businesses?” and looked at the tax planning opportunities available to ensure sensible planning in these uncertain times.
Alongside the excellent cooked breakfast, guests were provided with plenty of food for thought at the seminar and the opportunity to network with regional business contacts.
