After joining the firm in 1992 as a legal secretary, Cara continued her legal education while raising a family and, in 2007, qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives. In 2009, after completing the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates, Cara qualified as a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.
In November 2011 she successfully completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation; a new qualification from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners designed to test the excellence of Will draftsmen.
Gaining this qualification, in addition to the STEP Diploma, demonstrates that Cara is a trusted private client advisor who has the necessary skills and experience to provide an excellent service to her clients, whatever their circumstances.
Cara is based in our Shepton Mallet office and specialises in Wills, Estate Administration , Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. Cara is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and advises on Local Authority and NHS funding, as well as protecting assets for future generations.
