About Helen

Helen James joined Dyne Drewett in October 2007 having previously been based in Bath. Helen is a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate having initially qualified in 2004 and gained her Advocacy qualification in 2008. Helen is one of a very limited number with the Advocacy qualification. This additional qualification allows Helen to represent her clients fully in all areas.

Her specialism is in family law; this includes areas such as divorce, financial matters, children, pre/post nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and domestic violence issues. She has extensive experience in dealing with these areas having worked in family law for the last 15 years.

Helen prides herself on being able to support clients through a very difficult time in their lives and gain solutions that allow everybody to move on satisfactorily.

She is also a member of Resolution which requires all lawyers who are members to deal with issues raised in family matters as amicably and sensitively as possible.

Outside work, Helen is an avid tennis fan and regularly attends Wimbledon whatever the weather!
